During the process of Anthem I realized and learned lots of things. One being, recording is EXPENSIVE!!! Well, I say that to say….I’m beginning the process of a new project. Anthem was only a 5 song EP and had 3 covers on it. I want to do a 10-12 song full length cd and really push it. I’m hoping to be approved by iTunes one day (I applied 6 months ago). I will also be pressing this cd and will have actually cd’s instead of it only being digital. But like I said, recording is EXPENSIVE…and I have no money to record this project with.
So first, I want you to understand the purpose in this new project and know my heart in it. I’ve begun writing some new songs already and I feel like God is placing some things on my heart that I want to share with the world. I have no desire or goal to take this to labels to shop and for me to get signed. If that’s where God takes it, then I know it will be part of His plan. My purpose, goal, and passion right now is to get these songs down on a cd and get the tunes out to as many people as possible in hopes that God will reach millions and the name of Christ will become famous in every stretch of the earth. To do this, I need help.
